Overtime vs Bulgaria Dual Meet
Project Torch and Overtime School of Wrestling to Host an Olympic Style Dual Meet Between Some the Top U.S. High School Aged Wrestlers and Bulgaria. The event takes place at Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville, IL on June 20, 2008. Press Release. Event Flyer.

Olympic Team Trials Training Camp
Overtime School of Wrestling in partnership with Project Torch will be hosting an Olympic Team Trials training camp for NYAC wrestlers & special guests on May 29 - June 6.

7 Project Torch Athletes Make the FILA Junior and University World Teams
Brad Pataky, Josh Churella, Keith Gavin, and Jake Herbet will represent the USA in Freestyle and Jacob Curby in Greco at the University World Championships in Thessaloniki, Greece, July 9-13. Tyler Graff will represent the USA in Freestyle and Pete Kowalczk in Greco at the FILA Junior World Championships in Istanbul, Turkey, July 29-August 3.

Gavin, Herbert among 7 Olympic Trials qualifiers with victories at University Freestyle Nationals
A pair of recent NCAA Div. I champions were among the athletes who qualified for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials by winning Olympic weight classes at the University National Freestyle Championships, which concluded Sunday at the Univ. of Akron. Article/Results.

Bill Scherr Appointed President of Project Torch
Project Torch would like to welcome Bill Scherr as its new President. Scherr is also the chairman of the board for World Sport Chicago (WSC) and a board member of Chicago 2016, as well as co-chair of Chicago 2016's Athletes Advisory Council. Read more about Bill Scherr and our other board members.

Overtime/Project Torch Senior Training Camp #2
Overtime will be hosting a second NYAC senior level training camp from April 10-18, 2008 in preparation for the US Nationals and Olympic Team Trials. Foreign training partners for this camp include Damir Zakhartdinov (3x Olympian and World medalist from Uzbekistan) and Dimitar "Mitko" Georgiev (Bulgarian National Team, 66kg).

Overtime/Project Torch Senior Training Camp #1 with NYAC Athletes and Foreign Standouts
Overtime will be hosting an NYAC Senior level training camp on March 27-April 4, 2008 in preparation for the US Nationals and Olympic Team Trials. Joining the American athletes will be Bulgarian National Team Member Dimitar "Mitko" Georgiev, as well as members from the Mexican and Canadian Olympic Team.

Project Torch sponsors Max Nowry to travel to Bulgaria and compete in the Petko Sirakov and Ivan Iliev Junior Tournament on Saturday March 8th. Read Nowry's blog about his International tour experience.

New York Athletic Club Men's Freestyle Team Prepares for World Team Trials at Overtime Training Center
A group of America's top wrestlers traveled to the Chicago area to prepare for the upcoming US World Team Trials at a training camp run by the Overtime Training Center staff.
